    Short Shaft Fan Clutch

Hey bob...nice work...what is the open ended hose on the drivers side of the fan housing used for. Also, what do the holes in the fan Shroud look like under the black rubber flaps.

    Short Shaft Fan Clutch

Here is what I purchased. The Haden 2947 Mopar short shaft HD fan clutch and Derale 17117 standard rotation 17” fan. I’m going to have to grind the inside tabs of the fan to make it work, but that is hot rodding. The stock fan is the 7 blade unit that came on my ‘67 273 when I purchased it...

    67 Barracuda Bucket Seats

To complete Redfish’s post for future reference for all looking to add headrests to ‘67 barracudas the holes in the seats are different between the three years. ‘67 measure 7 1/2” and ‘68-‘69 measure 8 1/2”. The headrests are not interchangeable. I just purchased a set of oval ‘68-‘69...

    TRW ps pump question

Just found This bracket. Says it is for cast iron water pumps and Saginaw pumps for A-bodies 67-69. I will need to find out more to see if This is the missing link “bracket” that will bridge the gap to go from the rare unsupported TRW pump to get to the prolific Saginaw pump...

US Car Tool A518 Cross member

No, unfortunately the project is on hold for the time being. My company did away with my job and I have been looking for new job. My fear with the USCAR tool bracket will be I will get the tranny installed but there will not be enough room for up and down adjustment to have the correct...

    Street Demon vs AVS2

I have the AVS650 on my 418 stroker for street driving. It has performed very well. I have not experienced any off idle skips or Boggs. I’m running the 6psi edelbrock mechanical fuel pump and a wide band O2 sensor. Before installing a pressure regulator I had inconsistent A/F ratio readings...

    TRW ps pump question

Here is a disassembly video on the TRW pump from a big block that should fill in the missing pieces of the puzzle. Just for the record this is not me or anyone related to me but kudos to him for posting good content. I’m going to attempt a rebuild of my pump. The 40 degree morning here in...

Thank you for sharing the diagrams. I hate electrical stuff when you don’t understand how everything works. Thanks again.

    Removing connections from bulkhead!

I just took the front seat out so I can get under the dash to trace the wires from the ignition switch. By chance do you have a schematic if which terminals on the Ignition switch that are tied to the start and run positions?

    Removing connections from bulkhead!

My 1967 Barracuda has the connectors found in picture #4. I had something short out and burn up a wire to the ballast resistor. These connectors are tough to get out. Mine separated in two pieces. My wiring is prestige and yes I cried when I saw the smoke....just glad I caught it in time to...

[WANTED] 90 degree power steering fitting

Hey Alan......thanks for the info and picture. I have learned a long time ago if I think something is wrong it is usually me. I’ll keep the long hose as a spare or if I need space for the cold air intake. Thanks.

[WANTED] 90 degree power steering fitting

Here is the completed install. I’m pretty happy with it as long as it doesn’t leak. The alternate power steering hose is the perfect size...not too long or short and tucks away in all of the right spots. The Edelman power steering hose #70343 is the way to go. 90 degree fitting with o ring...

[WANTED] 90 degree power steering fitting

Update....half of the RockAuto order came in (Lars straight fitting with o-ring #176). There is 2” between the top of the fitting and the 340 exhaust manifold. We will see if there is enough space between the hose and the manifold tomorrow.

[WANTED] 90 degree power steering fitting

I ordered the parts pictured in the photos. It is the straight fitting and a hose that someone recommended from this site that doesn’t come up in Rockauto for Barracuda applications with the 273. It was recommended because of the smooth bends it’s routing to be out of the way. I’ll post...

I have complete the install of the hotchkis subframe connectors. MIG welding on old sheet metal in awkward close quarters was difficult. MIG welding is OK but if you can TIG or hire it done I feel it would be better. As a side note....I had a kid on fire watch watching or smelling for...

Hotchkis Subframe connectors are in. Here are pictures of what comes in the box and how it looks during a trial fitting. I like how they fully boxed the ends of the tubes. After grinding the areas to weld and 2 coats of weldable primer for the overlapped metal I will be ready for some close...

    Initial inspection of A500

This is how I decided to make room under the car and insure the car’s weight is in suspension without a lift. I took reference dimensions before and after. I put painters tape and drew a target on the tape. I placed the tape on the fenders behind the front wheels and on the quarters in front...

I was able to get a scale on it and it measures 1.38”. I measured the steel band the friction is attached to. Is that correct?
