Used pirate jack when doing a front disc conversion on my 63 Dart GT. Considering just doing the dual master and keeping the drums on my 65 Barracuda. Prefer to keep the original 13's. I would go with this one unless someone has a better option...

According to herbs:
"This is the bright red color used on all 273 engines from 1964-69, 1968 340 engines and 1964-69 318 engines"
He's exactly right. I just got the call yesterday that I'll be getting my 65 Barracuda into the shop rebuilding my engine later this week. I waited four months. Good shops will have a waiting line.
Makes me feel pretty good about paying half that for my 65 Barracuda. Their ad seems to indicate that you can restore this car and still make money at 15k. Funny.
Pretty happy with this one. Ordered from herbs parts (AMS) but item is drop shipped from another vendor. Believe Dales Cuda. Pentastar, part number (2660445) and date code of 9-65 on the resonator. Currently shows out of stock on their website.
Just FYI it is Mattax not Mattox, but I found the posts. Very informative. Initially I was only looking for advice in removing the connector, so I could just plug the new harness in, not removing terminals. Now I'll look at removing the terminals and redo them like you mentioned doing. Thanks.
Any tips on removing the old harness from these connections that go to the front parking lights? 1965 Barracuda. I've nearly destroyed one of them and it wont come out. Not concerned about the 60 yr old harness, it's going to the trash, but trying not to mess up the connector. One of the...
I'm in same situation with Dante's parts right now. They advertise an 8.75 inch rear armrest for a 65 Barracuda, but sent a 10.5 inch one. Website says buyer pays return shipping, but they sent the wrong part and website is wrong. We'll see how they handle it.
So does year one, will be a M&H harness. I just bought one for my 65, engine forward harness, so includes lights. Sounds like you found one though. Good luck!
Thanks. The 1243 seems to be the best available now, made for the smaller 273/318 ports. Rock Auto doesn't even list the MS 9935 anymore. If you did come across yours I would be interested. I haven't purchased the 1243 yet. Thanks.
Thanks for the info. I would love to find that dead nuts match, but they don't seem to be available. I'll just chill till I actually need them and see if I can get lucky. My engine isn't even out of the car yet. Just parts shopping.
Those show a 2 barrel port.
These are coming up as good for an LA small block, and half as thick. Curious what others have used in their builds.

So what have others used on their 273 four barrel? RockAuto shows this one on a 318 Fury in 1965, but I don't think it's correct for my application.

Funny thing is when emailing Waldrons, here is what their rep said in an email.
"Our resonator for 1965-67 Barracuda’s is spot on with the specifications. We have had several customers order this discounted resonator along with the complete system. We selling it at a discount and do not include...
Reasonable for sure, but 740 miles down and then the same 740 back enclosed would run me probably $2500 more. I can get it painted much closer to home for $8500. I'm many months, maybe a year or two, before I'm ready for paint anyway. By then you may not have an A body itch any longer. lol
Try [email protected]
And no, drop ship. In other words they don’t stock the part, it’s being shipped to you by someone else. Worries me a bit, as it could be the one Waldrons is selling $35 cheaper.
I'm having no issues with the email at herbs bouncing back. I do know they drop ship this one, so they couldn't answer me if it has 4.5 inch diameter like stock or 4 inch like the one Waldrons is selling.
