I bought this plate a couple years before I had the right car to put it on but I think it fits perfectly on this 71 Swinger 340 Special that spent most of it's life in Alberta.

I think it is a rare color also. I picked up a 71 Duster roller that came with a 318 auto, console and buckets in the same GA4 color and a black vinyl top. I think it is a good combo.

I have a 1970 dart swinger 225 auto with A38 police package. Funny it's a 2 door, maybe a detectives car or something. I see nothing extra special with the car, maybe I'll measure the torsion bars & count the springs out back. Did you find anything out ?

Updated information on my car and all the 340 Specials has just come to light with Cliff Guinand talking to the original sales manager from Crosstown Motors in Edmonton who initiated the special order for these cars and it turns out there were 83 cars built for 1971 and only 30 built for 1972...
