I'm thinking again, which right now is all I can afford to do. :)
I have a '69 Notch, which currently has a '68 hood and nose piece. I have a '74 Dart hood, which I think is the 'correct' (appearing, anyway) hood for the car, and yes I know about the hinge/hood mount hole difference. If I can find a nose piece sometime, I'd like to put the twin scoop setup (the separate scoops, not the twin one-piece scoop.. two separate ones about where the heads would be, like on the Darts and Dusters). I think it'd look nice on it, and it's still 'Mopar-ish' appearing.
I've looked all over and never seen one like this.. has anyone?
Thoughts welcome :)

I should have taken a picture. I was at an auction this last weekend that had a 67 fastback. It had the Dart scoops on it. Didn't look too bad. Could have done without the Go-Wing on the back .

If you're gonna put two scoops on a '69 notch. This would be the proper way.

Flat hood unless you have intake that requires a scoop.

Twin scoops only when it's factory...even them I'd be tempted to replace with flat.

I don't like go-wings. I think though, that a small spoiler like a '69 camaro had, might look nice on a notch.

I've also thought about opening the hood up the entire length of those scoops. Not for cool intake air, but to lower under hood temps. They are right over the heads/exhaust manifolds.. lot of heat would leak out in traffic, and maybe a bit of downstream air on the highway. As I said, I have time for thinking :)

This is my old race car with a 75 dart sport hood. On my current car I found a set of butchered cuda scoops and made them functional, using the same rubber rings as the dual scoops on the darts.

I vote, as usual, make it to fit your tastes.
I also have a few F bodies, the snorkel scoop is added by many people although it was never factory. I like the look. But I tend to be more correct with other models. All in what you like.

There used to be a pic of a notchback with a shaker hood...I thought it looked awesome

Build it your way! I've added the (now functional) twin scoops, the V21 style paint treatment and '70 Rallye wheels to my Dart GT. I like it.
