We noticed a rather significant gain (5-7hp) on the chassis dyno when cool air was directed at the carb during a pull. My buddy tried to recreate that by sealing his carb to the hood. Now, I'm concerned that with the boundry layer that Cracked mentioned above, this all may be for nought?

RRR the bolt used is shaped like a deck screw with an Allen head and goes into a chamfered hole. Sits nice and flush. Of course it has to be assembled to the spring before the hanger is bolted to the sub frame.

It's not clear in the picture from his website, probably just a bad angle. But if you look at the picture right above, you can clearly see the offset in the front spring hanger.

They are 15X9 with 4' bs. I found them on Marketplace. Someone had them made for their B body but unfortunately I need another inch or so of bs. I'm gonna run them as is for now, and when it's time for new tires I'll have the backspace set exactly by Weldcraft Wheels

My buddy is in town visiting family for Christmas, so we took the Duster down to the local watering hole. Even got rock star parking.

I’d like to tuck them as best as possible. Sticking out too far for my taste.

To further complicate things I bought a pair of used 15X9 wheels with four inch bs. They had worn out 275s on there, but I bolted them on anyway for mock up. Looks like I need five inch back space.

I installed the Dr. Diff offset hangers last spring (got his last set). Here's my results, but keep in mind I was going from an 8.25 to an 8.75. Some of that difference is due to the width of the rear ends. Before After

I haven't bought them...yet. I need new upper control arms and shocks and this would be a good time to swap out the .850 bars that I have in there. I'm adding frame connectors and torque boxes and I'm already sitting almost on the bump stops. Time to ask Santa.
