The 360 magnum is the best Mopar choice in my opinion for any A body…even better than the new hemi if you are on a budget…I did a 360 magnum build on this site a few years back and it made great power…with some decent heads you can get 450hp no problem

I should also add that I removed the window mechanisms for the rear windows and drilled a bunch of holes in the doors and behind the panels...it currently is sitting as a roller but will be going back together this winter with a bunch of parts that came off my 68 valiant...1.14 torsion bars...

Really a lot of it started with getting rid of all under coating, dirt and seam sealer…the front has fiberglass fenders,all heater components including blower gone,interior has all aluminum panels and light scat buckets no carpet… trunk is a flat panel with no spare tire hole…aluminum gas tank...

I had my all iron small block except intake 72 valiant down at 2900..in drag race mode…I would guess you could get another 200 out of it with a glass hood, aluminum engine components and lighter seats…add 50 to 75 back on if you’re looking for something with modern brakes and 18 inch wheels

I’m going to run the 10 inch rocket wheels on my dart which “appears” to have a touch more clearances than the Duster style fender…based on my follow the science measurements 10inch is likely at the outer limit for a stockish fender…wider than that you might as well do flairs and step up to a 12...

I just did a quick test fit of a rocket attack 18x10 6 inch back space…it honestly looks like it would work with maybe some fender pushing…

I’m on the hunt for a 15x8.5 center line auto drag wheel with 4 3/4 back space to try…after my 7.5 inch slot mag fail…

A 225/60/15 on a cop wheel ( 4.25 backspace) is getting to the limit especially on the duster/valiant fender… a 4.5 or a little more backspace 15x7 would be likely better as per Abody Joe….

The slot mags are crazy light… the 10 inch rears are probably 20lbs…I would guess you could knock 60lbs off the car on a 15x7 front and 15x10 rear wheel combo over steel…
