Like 67Dart said try it out first. I have the almost the same setup you do on a 74 Duster. Except for I have 11.75 front discs 8.8 rear with discs. I had the stock smaller disks front and drums rear and the factory proportion valve worked.

FYI on my 74 Duster without remote mirrors the holes were already there in the driver's side for a remote mirror for sure. Maybe you will luck out!

8.8 is cheap if you are not worried about stock or restoring. Walk into any parts place and get parts is a plus. Disk brakes and traclok for cheap. I paid $100 bucks for 3.73 tracloc and disc brakes.
