Some years ago I had an alum rim that was gouged.I had the lip welded and machined and it looked almost a good as new. I know it's possible but has anyone had aluminum rims widened and what was the cost? I would like to widen the american racing rims I have for the back from 6" to at least 8".

So heres a question that may be silly but here goes. Can tbars be powder coated? They will get baked at 400 for an ohur or so and I was just wondering if it would adversly affect them or the metallurgy. Probably not Im thinking. After all valve springs see millions of heat cycles.
