    6.1 or 6.4?

For those who have purchased a 6.4L 392 485hp. Where did you buy from? Who sells them? Only Roseville? I tried my local Dodge dealer, they said they don't sell the performance parts, they pointed me to Mancini or Roseville. I don't think Mancini sells crate engines.

    Are 340’s rare

They are the next sought-after engine behind the 426 hemi. I'm amazed at the prices they are going for, that tells me they are rare. Less than 10 years ago I bought two original bore 340 blocks for $500 each, I'm glad I scooped them up...

Thoughts/opinions on Blueprint Engines 408 stroker crate engine?

Good information, older thread. I placed an order thru Summit back in January 2023. A little misleading on their expected arrival date, was originally April then it mysteriously changed to July right after I placed my order. I called BPE and they confirmed the July date. Well, July 31st rolls...

Damn Milodon. Check your oil pans

Exactly and idiots like me have to deal with their issues. Do they realize everything you have to go thru to change out a pan? It's hours and hours of work. If you tell you that you stand behind your products the DO IT, DON'T JUST SAY IT!!!

Damn Milodon. Check your oil pans

Having problems with Milodon as well. This is supposed to be a stock pan replacement. Works well if I only use half of my steering radius. Milodon said they will stand behind their products, asked me to email pics and info. That was 3 weeks ago, no reply...

340 Stroker mainly for street, what gear would you run?

Thanks for all of the replies. Great reads. As for fuel delivery, I currently have a Sniper system on my 340 that's in the car now. I'll start with it but plan on MPFI down the road a bit on the stroker. Then I'll have a well running backup sitting in the corner of the garage for a while :)...

340 Stroker mainly for street, what gear would you run?

Hi, Have a 340 in the shop being built, stroker. Aiming for ~450hp. Mainly for street driving, not a daily driver. Mostly sunny day driving, cruise nights, and shows. Currently have a 8 3/4" sure grip w/3.91. Currently running 26" tires. Not looking for a ton of highway driving but occasionally...

    340

I just picked up two 340 blocks, one is a '68 & the other a '73. Both stock bores. The guy I got them from got the '73 out of a boneyard in '77 so very low miles, in fact hardly a wear lip in the cylinder. Both cleaned up now and magnafluxed.

    340 Engine Block Stamping

I did a search and found some of the replies pertaining to engine block stamping numbers but I don't see anything matching the 3 letters prior to 340 on my block. The casting says it's a 1973. BRM340BR06128145 Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Pusher - Shroud after or no?

    Great, thanks. Makes sense

Pusher - Shroud after or no?

Maybe I'm not being clear. Fan in front, shroud in rear. I have absolutely no room for a fan after the radiator. 1.5" clearance at best. I also have no room for a shroud before the radiator because of the grill / hood latch support. I'm asking if a shroud after the radiator would help vs no...

Pusher - Shroud after or no?

An electric fan (pusher) is my only option with this radiator, so it's going in front. There's no room for a shroud in front so it would be in the normal location after. Just wondering if it would help there or not.

Pusher - Shroud after or no?

Because of clearance issues I'm forced to mount a 16" electric fan in front as a pusher. Champion aluminum radiator, 67 Barracuda - 383. My question is would a shroud after (engine side of radiator) still help or no?

New wire harness, which one to use?

I second the EZ harness. Way less money vs the rest. I was able to find many of the connectors online or you could just use your old ones. Quality kit, all wires are clearly marked every foot or so. Very happy with it...

    FiTech EFI system

May have found the answer to the 90 deg connectors many have been requesting of FiTech. Found these on Digikey's website and ordered a few. The power connector is a bit longer and sticks out but it's better than original for those seeking a 90 deg solution...

Has any one ran a Alternator with a internal voltage regulator?

Reviving an old thread In the process of rewiring my 67 Barracuda (M&H harness - factory duplicate). Had a battery drain I couldn't find. It has a Powermaster alternator w/internal VR. The guy I bought the car from used the original harness which had an external voltage regulator too, only he...

    FiTech EFI system

Summit Racing has a 500hp EFI kit, sure looks a lot like the FiTech throttle body with some cosmetic changes. The ECM is separate from the throttle body in this version. Wiring harness is different because of it, but many similarities. The handheld and mount look identical. Also noticed in some...
