These bulbs require a grounded in the form of the door switches OR the headlight switch switched all the way counter clockwise ( or clockwise, don't recall) With power to the socket that means one or both door switches and / or the headlight switch and /or wiring from the bulbs to the switches...

People have absolutely paid as much as Worman charges to restore A-bodies, and there are 6 figure A-body restorations out there. Whether or not they resell for that much is irrelevant, I'm sure some of the B/E bodies he's done cost more to restore than they ended up selling for. Most, and I mean...

That cam should work very well in a 408 with those flow numbers and over 12:1.

I have a 340 .040 over block with no main caps. This was a running motor but something happened and water got in a few cylinders. Ended up finding another 340 and I had to use the main caps from this block. I'm sure it will need sleeves. $200 + the ride

Just realized the choke rod wasn't installed. It is now. The car had a manual choke cable on it, that's why it was removed. Thanks, Scott

More carb and probably rpm with that large 50 number on the camshaft, probably get in the 800 range I would bet ! I would think with that large 50 number camshaft and heads that dude will rpm on up there !
