Finally Tired of Antics on Graveyard Cars

I remember the episode where he said that he didnt do A bodies because there was no money in them. POW, right there I lost respect for the guy, just in it for the money like the other high dollar builders that I have no use for.

    8.75 rear change

Yes sir, it uses a crush sleeve. It's splittin hairs really, Steve, but if I had a 742 already, I wouldn't swap. Under a LOT of power, the crush sleeve can actually crush further and cause the pinion depth to change. If it changes enough, it could be catastrophic. It takes a lot of power and a...

I like that show somewhat but his unlimited budgets kinda defeats the common guy meaning of the show to me.

Interesting topic for me to have read through. I have been thinking about trying medicinal, marijuana, "gummies" to see, find out, if it would be of help to me with a aggravating sleep disorder, that has been with me, for quite a long time. Looked on the internet for "pot shops" as i would call...

Big Issue on harnesses from Classic Industries

I have run into three issues ordering wire harnesses for my 1965 Dodge Dart GT. I ordered the under dash, engine/ headlight, and tail light harnesses from Classic Industries. 1. I talked about this in another post. The tail light harnesses includes wiring for backup lights, but the other two...

    [WANTED] A904 Torque Shaft Bracket

This is the only picture I can find that shows the 904 and 727 side by side. Too bad they did not include a ruler in the picture like you did. I think you have the 727 version. Are they both the same size? How much for both?

    Timing Mark Dilemma

Well, as others have said, the only real way to know 100% is to degree the camshaft. It's a simple process and one that I would not leave out.

Solid Roller camshaft selection those of you running a 408 race application - lobe seperation

i think your current cam is to big already. the cams that you posted are very close to the cam in my 414 W8 and there is no way a Trick Flow head will compare to a W8. B3422W5 has a 565 lift cam and runs 10.20's if i remember correctly and close to your race weight. sometimes less is more.

    So... What did I buy?

1967 - 1972 273 and 318 had a narrower connecting rod beam width and lighter then 340 , 360 rods. 1973 and later all had the same beam width rods. But no forged cranks after 72. The forged crank you pictured is a pre 1972, 273. 318 That is why the journals are not drilled. Because it...

Ewe , the dreaded wood ! Kind of a charming car otherwise. If you keep it and have a bunch of other cars it is hard to drive them all enough to justify. I know this all to well.
