Lightweight flywheel options and selection criteria.

I run a Mcleod 22lb sfi behind the 408 in my Swinger . W2 heads 246/250 on 108 cam and 3.91 gears. No issues street driving . A 3.09 first gear would make it perfect !

    440 A Body Cooling solutions?

What other stuff do I need with those contour fans I bought those a few years ago for my drag car. I haven't installed them and have forgotten what I will need to run them. Thanks

    Choke thermostat problem

That will work well for the intake-to-exhaust gasket, and you don't have to have the crossbar in that gasket—it does not serve a purpose—you just need the perimeter. If your manifolds are not warped and the surfaces where they meet the cylinder head are flat, the regular gasket will work okeh at...

    Sheet Metal Intake

I even like the single 4 top with the pent roof. I bet it works. That’s really the only way to get a single 4 to work on a tunnel ram. Hogans knows their ****.

    Tunnel ram Tuesday!!!...

I definitely didn’t know that about the interchangeability of the tops. Thanks for that.

No driveshaft catapult? Explain that to one of my best friends. He lost a brother to your not happening. But I'm not going to argue about it.

Hats off to you ! That is one tough job ! The rest of us should reflect when we complain about our hard jobs .

Replacement 68 340 four speed cams

Yeah, Chevy had stuff with over 320 advertised. The little 340 A bodys wasted um on a regular basis. lol

Replacement 68 340 four speed cams

The nice thing was that you didn't see air pumps on muscle mopars like you did on the Chevies. Chevy ran a different deal and had to have that air injection in the exhaust to get past emissions stuff. Different approach to meet the regs. Neither would have done what they did without them...

Finally get to pretend I am one of the cool kids - Holley kit swap

Good point. When Holley came out with their parts I got excited because it solved some of the issues I had with the swap. The big ones were that I could run the low mount AC compressor if I ran a VVT motor and I could run the 6.4 intake and keep the SRV function without cutting my firewall...

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Black rubber. It’s a ‘97 and I only replaced it once before. I think the one I just got is aftermarket and doesn’t rebound very well. Probably going to get a spare OEM if I keep this much longer. It smokes a bit after starting, but still works great

    Redline or Not

Diamondback Redlines on my Dart. My Dart came from the factory with Redlines and so I went back to them when I restored the car. The Cragar's have been on the car since 1971.

    Sheet Metal Intake

I’d bolting that on so fast you’d have to air mail me shorts. That manifold will kick the crap out of any single 4.

    De-Pin a headlight switch connector

The second link looks closer to the type. The first link looks like the type you'd use in the bulkhead connector. The end of the female connector looks different if you compare it to your pictures.

I think that one in San Fernando Valley is very close to where they do Spring Fling. I think they calling it Woodley Fire.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Did that when young and dumb while in the military in Germany....but it wasn't doing that when I left the base heading down to the Moselle River. The road had about an inch of snow on it and no one had driven on it yet and the snow flakes looked like ping pong balls coming down! Stopped that...

    Tunnel ram Tuesday!!!...

That top wasn’t available the last time I looked which was several years ago. They may be back in stock now, but the Chevy top bolts right on, contrary to what Edelbrock says.

Nice car. Yes rebuild that carb. Very easy to do.

    Fender tag date code.

That's great. Thanks for the help. The reason I was asking is because my car is a fairly original car. I recently did the rear brakes and found traces of red paint on the rear drums. Since this would indicate the car came with road wheels, I was wondering if it's possible that it had the cast...

Stop in for a cup of coffee

 I was cruisin' round town yesterday, came upon a new Ferd Raptor pick up. Fender flares, ugly wheels, 4x4, monsterous tars, all in all not bad lookin, cept for them wheels. The 3.5l EcoBeast is the standard power plant, turbo V6. It got past me to where I could hear it. FART CANS! Sounded...
