Maybe so, but Chrysler's quality control was dogshit on everything back then, number one; number two, that was most of half a century ago. Similarly, pretty much all the F-bodies that still exist are the good ones; the crummy ones all went away years ago.

When I first moved back here, they tried to open a Baskin Robbins a mile away from there... I said, Baskin won't last with Plush Horse down the street... Sure enough after a few years, they closed the Baskin Robbins... Plush Horse is still going.... People like to take their fancy cars...

We have a local ice cream parlor here called Plush Horse that makes their own ice cream also... They date back to 1937... Hardwood floors, and tin ceiling, great atmosphere... They pack them in on a hot summer day with lines out the door and down the sidewalk... Home made ice cream and they...

If you take your time, you can do a good enough job that when painted, you will never see the damage. I repaired two boxes for a friend from a 67 Mustang, and they came out pretty good.

It is a paint. It costs $120 per quart. I bought a quart several years ago and have done several sets of manifolds. There is probably enough left for two more sets. So $120 and I get 6 sets of manifolds; not bad. I spray on one medium wet coat and a few minutes later another medium wet coat...
