The outer finish may be an issue one member used CLR. For stuck stuff, I've used penetrating oil and a hot plate

Replacement 68 340 four speed cams

Some of us nostalgically remember our cars being faster than they were. A '70 340 Dart went 14.5 in the quarter. The fastest car back in high school (45 years ag) was low 13s and it had been heavily modded.

New Lower Steering Column Bearing Kit (in development)

The part is going to be delivered to my tester soon. I know the dimensions are good on the bearing side, but I need to confirm the fit to the steering column tube. Stay tuned! You may want to confirm that this is the part you are looking for. As far as I know, this is a 67 only part. Although...

    Foot brake drag racing

Still not clear to me what the goal is. Are you ever planning to race at the track? If no, then why?, street racing? Lots of response regarding reaction time, but if you’re never racing, it will never matter. If it’s about best potential et, i.e best 60’, the only place to make that better...

    Questions about painting slant6 manifolds

I sprayed my /6 with POR 15 Chrysler Blue and hated it It didn't cover well, after 3 coats (I gun sprayed) it looked like anodized aluminum. Didn't cover worth a shyt. I ended up going over it with dupli color Mopar blue. The manifold turned out great with their cast iron gray manifold paint

Can you tell me anything about this´69 Barracuda?

I bought this fine ´69 Barracuda from Sun Valley CA last summer. Seller did not have any reliable information on its history. A piece of paper I found in car indicates that one previous owner was Tom Babuscio in Winnetka CA. The only thing the seller told me was that the guy he bought the...
