Good for you driving that much! I wish I could drive mine more. If the shocks are weak yea time for new ones. I added the rear sway bar to my Scamp and I could tell the difference right away. So my vote is Yes to the sway bar. Shocks if needed. Have fun :-)
My ram 350 van and it even has a roller 360. It was a government crummy pulled all but front seats and the second row seat and put a double mattress, some coolers and an RV toilet and cruise the Oregon coastline stopping where we choose. Some of our best times!!
did anyone ever see the video of a male cop getting over run by a perp and the female was standing there watching gun/ taser drawn and the male cop was basically screaming "are you going to do something or what...help..." the point I'm making is they say "anyone can do it" about alot of jobs...
I just bought two 340 blocks that fall in that date. One has no VIN at all. I'm building that one. The other is very rusted. It doesn't have a vin on the pad by the oil pan but it does by the where the head bolts on and I can't read it. I have posted pictures of the one I'm willing to part with...

That's cool! I got the British car bug when I was in auto shop in school. Our instructor had an Austin Healey bug eye Sprite.I think it was a 60 model if I remember right.
Thanks Brother. So far today the winds are looking a little better. I will feel a lot better Thursday, when winds are supposed to subside. Thanks all for your concerns.
Not trying to throw any shade! I've ridden in a couple of Cadillacs of a similar style, I totally get the appeal. Logically cars like that make complete sense to me. But I'm pretty sure that Healey imprinted on me, I enjoy the hell out of driving but the more comfortable the car is the less I...
I suspect your low speed surge, or bucking may have less to do with the lightweight flywheel and more to do with the locked timing. I've been down that road myself before.
Nice Demon!
Thought about it, and I could get in pretty quick with my mig, but drilling and tapping for a stud would be my preferred option because I don’t like welding around things that can melt. I wanted to stick with stock, if possible. I just posted here because I hoped someone would have a source...
