    904 Rebuild for Beginners

i'd say blow apart the old 904 and see what you're working with. it might be trash, it might not but you'll at least have an idea of the inner workings and what you'll need to look for if it is. and if it's not total garbage, then you've got a trans to install and go along on your way-- FYI...

Your favorite road trip car ?

Gonna take this is a little different direction. My favorite road trip vehicle is my 1956 Austin Healey 100. Sure, it lacks pretty much every creature comfort- manual everything, no AC, no roll up windows, no roof, no cupholders! Not much trunk space either, so, one suitcase and it had better be...

Advice on setting up Dual Carter AFB's....

Probably wouldn't hurt to have a carb sync tool. They sit on your carb and you adjust them looking at a bubble, match the bubble on both carbs and you have the airflow really close. That's how we did mine during dyno tuning.

Having worked for a County agency doing geodetic quality work we did work for Litton etc. in the '80's to test the accuracy or . . . Amazing to me how far we've come and the reliance on technology that may be our downfall. Ugh !

    Ultimate swap confirmation

Yes, I love the white Hurst ball, but the Hurst shifters are very pricey :( In 66-68, The Inland company made shifters with white balls for other cars than Mopar. I found a white ball initially made for GM cars, but having the good 9/16-18 threading for the Inland shifter, and also the "well"...

One student was in the seat from Little Rock to Key west via a 5 hour route in the Gulf, and then the other student got...
