It is better to use the vacuum advance or just plug it off?

Yes, oil was changed last weekend. Tried everything I could think of. Had the same problem last year and never got it to pass.

Idle test was at 1000 rpm with a water temp of 160 and timing at 35 At idle. After inspection I adjusted the timing at 2500 rpm and started using the vacuum advance. Still new to the tuning aspect of this car

They do but only for stock or close to stock cars, even if you get that in Delaware it has to pass inspection the first time. I'm sure there's loop hole but I don't know anybody

Hydrocarbons are over 1400 ppm, limit is 600. Vacuum is 17, number 9 plug, 180 thermostat. I never tried adjusting the float, I played with the mixture screws and timing. Right now I set the timing at 35 at 2500rpm

416 stroker, 750 demon, electronic ignition, vacuum advance, edelbrock aluminum heads, not sure on cam sizE, motor was built a few years ago but never on the road

The one element in the bulb stays on while the turn signal element tries to flash.

My front turn signals work fine when the head lights are off. But when I turn the headlights on the turn signals only dim instead of flashing. Does anybody have any ideas on what might be causing this?

That thought crossed my mind, its electric fuel pump holding at 7 psi. Is that too low for this type of motor?

demon 750, had 76 jets in primary and 80 in the secondary. went to 80 in the primary and 86 in the secondary. Got a lot more acceleration at the low end but still the same result and higher rpms.

I have a 1971 plymouth duster with a 416 stroker motor. At low speeds and normal driving it performs as expected, as soon as it is put under a load that is a different story. Under heavy acceleration the motor begins to pop and surge. I have tried the basics, plugs, wires, timing. Any ideas...
