    i doubt both the ignition AND distributor were deffective but is the regular mopar performance distributor good? so far i plan on ordering the chrome box, that distributor, and an accel super coil what can i expect from puttin those in?

    ok, so i went on summit, ran the part number for the ignition the guy said he stuck in the car, this one http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=DCC%2D3690426&N=0&autoview=sku and well, 2 things first - my distributor has a light brown top, not a black one...

    you can get those times without a stroker, a 360 would work just fine then you can use stock heads & yanno, NOT have to buy a stroker kit I mean i can see why you'd wanna go stroker but for the times you're wanting it's really not necessary i do reccomend getting a bigger stall though...

    eh, i think i'll just stick to the original plan for now, it doesn't limit me in any way, i can always go back & get w2 or edelbrock heads & have any ammount of work done on them even if it doesn't hit 400 at the ground & run's say...12.3, it'll still be able to beat most of the street cars...

    well, the stroker kit costs about a grand, 2 demon carbs costs about a grand, everything on the 408 in the article i read is built with high end performance parts, but with a really really mild cam. so i figure building up a 340 would be about $1500 cheaper
