Anyone here know this 56 Coronet Lancer?

After some measuring, we think we can easily fit an 8” wide wheel with the correct offset in the rear so we will likely go that route at some point. Or maybe not… who knows…

Anyone here know this 56 Coronet Lancer?

We’ve already started removing pieces to gain access to the bolts holing all the panels on the car. Everything is so misaligned… Hopefully we can make it better..

Anyone here know this 56 Coronet Lancer?

Absolutely! There’s actually one listed just above that looks like a solid starting point. I just got the numbers off the drivetrain tonight. It’s a 360 from 94, a 904 from 78, and a 741 case 8 3/4 from 64-72. I believe I have all that correct… It has the original suspension under the front with...

Anyone here know this 56 Coronet Lancer?

I was able to run to the shop for a minute tonight. I found this label on the driveshaft. I looked up the area and found a Mopar shop but he said he didn’t even know anyone in the are that worked on cars that old… Anyone know of any hotrod type shops that would have been in business 25ish years...

While reading the '56 Coronet Lancer thread I spotted my old minibike!

Your 56 Lancer title grabbed me… I didn’t ride mini bikes or dirt bikes, I liked 4 wheels… My son, on the other hand, likes dirt bikes and started asking for one when he was 3. I told him when he started riding his bicycle without training wheels that we’d get him one. We took them off and put...

Anyone here know this 56 Coronet Lancer?

I found their Facebook page and hijacked my wife’s account to post. Very nice group with lots of compliments but no one seems know the car at all. There was one person that says they are pretty sure they saw the car once in New Orleans and once in Texas years ago..

Anyone here know this 56 Coronet Lancer?

That would have been a great truck to still have around! I don’t personally have any experience with the old PS systems but I’ve read enough that I don’t really care to gain that experience… Thanks for the advise. I do love the work I do but at 40yrs old, I can already tell I need something to...

Anyone here know this 56 Coronet Lancer?

I’m really surprised someone out there doesn’t know the car. If it’s really been around since the late 90’s, early 2000’s, I would have thought someone in the Mopar community would know where it came from. I’ve posted on the B body and C body forums as well. Seems to be a great conversation...

Anyone here know this 56 Coronet Lancer?

The tan 71 is actually a D200… we bought it knowing someone had taken two trucks and built this one. The engine is actually a 69 dated 340… We need to put that to better use in one of the A body’s sitting around… It’s been a great truck though. As for the Altec hat, I am a lineman at our local...

Anyone here know this 56 Coronet Lancer?

He will be 6 in May. Kids are truly amazing! He has some older sisters that come along occasionally but that’s usually on cruises when the whole family goes. We try to make it as inclusive as we can but if I’m just brutally honest, my dad an I have a problem… that I blame on him… and if we’re...

Anyone here know this 56 Coronet Lancer?

Thanks! We go together every chance we get! This past spring, we drove dad’s first car, 72 Scamp, a couple hours to the Music City Mopar show. He has owned it 50 years this past September.

Anyone here know this 56 Coronet Lancer?

Thanks! I was able to get in touch with the most recent previous owner as his contact info was on the title. He was unhelpful and really just unkind… He was into Ferraris and Aston Martins. Said it was a cheap auction buy to drive and he only owned it for a short time. Looking at the dates, I...

Anyone here know this 56 Coronet Lancer?

Looks like a solid platform to start with! The builder was kind enough to add the paint code to the back of the glove box. I believe it to be one of the Crossfire colors. Inferno Red or Blaze Red…

Anyone here know this 56 Coronet Lancer?

Dad bought the car a couple weeks ago. It arrived in TN Saturday morning. It looks to be an older build, maybe from the early 2000’s… Feels like a car that was built in a warm climate since there’s no heat but has Vintage A/C.. Won’t be running it around this week!!

    Paint Code Opinions

Without a reference in person it’s really hard to tell. This is F7 according to the article... It looks close This one says it’s F3. It’s looks light to me... Again, I know pictures in general, lighting, and full panel coverage compared to a “spot”are a terrible way to compare.
