Hey dude just a heads up on polishing of a 69 valiant grill.It has a factory clear anodizing on it .it will not polish up.I sent mine to advanced plating in tenn.They had to soda blast it and then copper plate it followed up by nickle and then chrome plate.It is the way to go if you can afford...

Hi Ken,Thanks for the comment on my Valiant.I painted the car back in 2007.Jewel red.is the color.Tri stage paint.and I put 6 coats of clear.I just spent one full week wet sandingit with 2500 grit,and buffing to a plate glass shine.it actually looks better now than when I painted it 5 years ago..Don
