    '65 Barracuda with a '71 340 needs a Radiator...

Sorry gang, it's been WAY too long since I've poked around this forum and had any amount of energy put into my 'ol gal Barracuda. I've been starting to get her back on the road and I'm trying to keep her cool. Forgive me because I've been out of the Mopar game for a while now (busy w/ house...

    3.0 engine swap

It's a transverse mounted motor, you'd be looking at basically %100 custom everything to get it mounted up, plus it's a terrifying complex and unreliable motor set up. I would say there are about a 1000 better and just as odd ball swaps one could do that would be more successful then the mitsu...

Opps, yeah the car has the big bolt pattern, so I've got some options. cragars and slots do look good but I think I want something a bit different.

    '65 Barracuda wheels...

So the 14" magnum 500's on my barracuda are kinda chewed up and rusty and the tires are dry rotted, so I'm looking for some wheels. I'm looking to do something a little different and I was looking at a set of the gray centered 15" AR Salt flat specials, or even a set of 15"-16" panasport rims...

    Feeler, '67 Barracuda Notchback

Well, it does have '06 tags on it at the moment and technically your not aloud to have any "extra" vehicles. Hell, your not even aloud to back into parking spaces because "the exhaust harms the landscaping" which consists of large bushes and a crappy lawn. You'd think that surround a parking lot...

Update... All 6 are firing and it's running much better... running damn well actually! I pulled the valve cover to find a very nice, clean, and from the looks of it rebuilt top end. Adjusted the valves and there we have it, all better. So, Once I get it all sorted out and tie up the loose ends...

    Feeler, '67 Barracuda Notchback

I've got a good 31k mile '74 225 w/ matching 31k mile 904 lined up for $100, but I dont have a place to swap it into the car, nor do I have a hoist or truck to go get the motor. If anyone wants to offer me something for it as is they can save a good deal of $ and swap in that cheap slant.

    Feeler, '67 Barracuda Notchback

Well, good news and bad news... I got the car running a good deal better, new points, set the timing, etc... Bad news is that it's still not %100 and a compression test shows that 2 of the cylinders are very low on compression. Now I know the car has a great rebuilt short block, but the...

    Feeler, '67 Barracuda Notchback

Yup, 225/904, no sway bar, and manual drums all the way around. Starts right up since I swapped out the beat up old carter with a rebuilt holly 1920, but once it warms up it idles rough, I've got new point for It which I intend to put in. The past owner said he but in a rebuild short block about...

    Seat interchangablity

Ok, so I recently picked up a '67 barracuda notchback with a beat up original bench seat in it and I was wondering if a set of seats from an other a body would bolt up. If so what models and what years? Early A-bodies too? Awesome! Thanks, Frank

    g tech...accurate or not?

If it's the pricey newer one it's supossed to be pretty accurate with all of the readings it does. I hear that the older cheap one is only really accurate with the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times, but if you know the weight of your car then finding the HP from the 1/4 time should get you close.

Swapping parts from an F-body car

the 727 will fit, you might just have to take a hammer to some of the body seems to get it to fit,. Some car you need to, other's you don't. the rear should fit but check to make sure that it's the 8 3/4 and not the 8 1/4. they came stock with the 8 1/4.

    8.25 Question

as far as I'm concerned, if your just going to be running it on the street, or keeping street tires on it then it should handle most of what your going to toss at it. If your looking at monster numbers, is a heavy car, or want to lanch hard on slicks then look else where. A small block a-body...

I just got mine from Harold, in about a week. They look good and I had great communication with him the whole time. I'm %100 impressed and wouldn't hessitate to jump in and order again. If your stuck on 273 manifolds, give these a look.

    Cast Iron Manifolds

Oh and if your looking for the 340 HP manifolds, be prepaired to pay $$$$ for them... If your looking for cheapies then you might want to dig up some a-body 360 manifolds or '72+ 340 manifolds. BUT, they might not bolt up to those Yearone H-pipes you speak of. I'd go with a good local custom...
