I need some fuel sending unit experts please

Did you follow the instructions when you converted to the IVR? The limiter was originally mechanically built into the fuel gauge. The reostat needs to be disabled [ie, bent out of the way of the circuit.

    71 Dart, Fuel/Temp Gauges

You mean "limiter". All the gauges run on 6volts from the limiter. Each gauge has a separate sender. If your fuel gauge works [somewhat] that sender [in tank] needs adjusting. The aftermarket temp senders are all bad. The ohmage is always too high, thus your gauge never receives much voltage...

    1965 Dart gauge problems!

Sounds like a bad sender. Your gauge is getting full 6 volts. It usually goes the other way, ie. never reaches temp on the gauge. Hope you didn't burn out your gauge.

    1965 Dart gauge problems!

Long ago I converted my 340 Duster to electronic ignition. The box was blue and has 5 posts. The box started to drip "goo" so I ordered a new Mopar chrome unit. It has just 4 posts. Is there a difference?
