    Mallicoat Brothers Barracuda (Video)

Got a cool little video of a few Mopars including the old Mallicoat car now campaigned by TBR Garage and Cody Dow.....we think it might be the quickest conventional head A-body out there...it's a B1 with a 118mm turbo on methanol. What say you guys? Anyone else been sub 4.50s?

New guy here with a 72 Duster :)

Welcome neighbor and fellow Luv owner ;) I spent a LOT of time dreaming up A-body combos back in the day so let me know when you want to start going fast. Oh and get a pinion snubber. No slapper bars! Ha ha.

    [Found!] 15 inch Slot Mags

Had good luck on here before so I figured I'd try again...looking for a set of 15x7 or 15x8 slot mags that are a 5x4.5 bolt pattern. Closer to Northern CA the better but might be willing to pay shipping depending on price. Thanks everybody.

Calculating Engine HP from Rear Wheel Figures

Your engine will always have the same 27hp increase. The effective torque to the rear tires can be different via gearing, but since the gearing is steeper, it will travel through the power band quicker, making you arrive at a higher gear sooner. Eventually you'll have to shift, nullifying the...

Anyone Here Ever Dyno Their Mild Built Small Block Car?

Seems about right. I have a 360 (supposedly a 74) in a 72 dart, with headers, a carb, and intake, and it made 197rwhp.

anyone get car craft or hot rod

Hey guys! I'm doing a Dart project as a freelancer for Car Craft, so don't worry, Mopars are not forgotten! I had a 72 Dart in high school, then later a 71 Duster, then a 67 Barracuda (wish I'd kept that) so I am no stranger to A-Bodies. The first article has been published already, I'm...

    The Turbocharger Bible

Most people would do fine with a single 62mm or 66mm turbo from BorgWarner. They're only a few hundred more off the shelf than the China junk, and import guys push em to 500+rwhp (62mm) or 600+rwhp (66). Even a 57mm as a single will make 450rwhp maxed out.

    late model blowers

You stole that blower. I have an M112 off a lightning I might try that I paid $400 for. Was for another project, but I kinda like the idea of a blow through...or draw through for that matter. One of the meanest slant 6's I've heard in a while.... \6 with eaton m112 off of a jag. - YouTube

    The Turbocharger Bible

Don't know how many people read this still, but the .283 is a constant, like 9.8 m/s^2 or 32.2 ft/s^2 for gravity.

    489,741 or 742, the Difference?

Thanks for the info! I already have an A-body 8 3/4 under it, I just need to change the centersection. I see posi's with gears (complete centersections) come up from time to time, and was just wondering if they are pretty much a bolt-in.

    489,741 or 742, the Difference?

Will the driveshaft, u-joint size, and axle spline all be the same? I'm looking to take my open 2.76 rear out, as it's not doing me any dragstrip favors....

    Drag Car Weights....

Ha ha, yeah, that's me. I still need to get a good run on that truck. I just got it out of storage and will hopefully get some decent times in 2015. 5000 pounds or not, 972hp at the wheels ought to do something! :banghead:

    Drag Car Weights....

2500 is awesome. Who's block are you using? How much did that save?

    Drag Car Weights....

That's pretty good...what all have you done to it as far as glass and lexan? I was pretty happy with the 3200 number on mine, I think if I take all the junk out of it and back seat, and weigh with a quarter tank I'll be closer to 3000. I had a 67 Barracuda that weighed 2960 and had a bench in...

    Drag Car Weights....

I have a 71 Dart that I'm building slowly into a quick drag car, and I was wondering what I should expect it to weigh after some tricks, and maybe fiberglass. 360/727/8.75 rear. So far it weighs 3200 w/o me in it and with a half a tank, spare tires, jack, snow chains, etc. I'm curious on...

    360 cam selection

Is that because the rocker arm ratio is all over the place, or is it basically everything that's the problem?

    360 cam selection

I'm kind of in the same situation, and I'm a little confused about the part where it comes to shortening the valve guides...on the Hughes Engines website they say anything over .450 lift could have clearance issues, then on here on another thread someone mentioned that you're probably fine till...
