No the orginal pickup tube was for the van which it wouldnt work for the car oil pan. I bought a new oil tube for a 318. My engine is a 360

I dont know if i had an oil pan spacer. Ill need to check on it.

Is the pickup tube different from a 318 to 360

I got it 4 months ago. I dont think i have the paperwork on it.

The car is at my friends house.

I didnt change the pump. I did change the oil pickup tube.

Your not kidding either. Its like the oil pump is also to shallow.

I put it on right. Its almost as if the oil pump is to shallow and the pick up tube is shallow.

Probably tomorrow.

I I dont have any pics. I changed the pickup tube from the truck to the car. I changed the oil pans from the rear sump to center sump. The 360 oil pan is hanging up on the oil pump.

So i got an oil pan for the 360 and it wont fit over the oil pump. Am i missing something?

HAHA I cant forget my wifes birthday she will kill me. New oil pan should be here tomorrow. That's what my friend told me with the mistake. Thanks for the help I really do appreciate it.

Will i thought 318-340-360 all had the same pan.

So can i replace the rear main seal or do i need a whole new oil pan?

So stupid question whats the difference in the oil pans? It bolted on just fine when i put it together.

I got an oil pan for a 318. NAPA doesnt recognize the 360 for the dart.

Got a motor out of the dodge van. Put all new parts and new seals and brand oil pan. We put the motor in and when we put oil into it started to leak from the bottom of the motor where it meets the tranny. I'm a little unsure what it is.
