    Definitely not the case. Popular Mechanics had an article on the 1967 Barracuda rally car - it clearly showed a LD4B with no part number. Also check out EBay - LD4Bs with and without the Chrysler part number.

    Thanks for the input - being in Australia custom pistons are too expensive for my budget for this motor. After a lot of looking around I think my options are either KB Hypereutectic or the old (and heavy) TRW type forged pistons.
