I only have a '69 parts manual, this fan blade number isn't there. #3462 186, it has aluminum blades. My friend says it's for a 426 Hemi. The blade in my '69 parts book says # 2863 215. Can someone help me out? I will use it regardless, it fits. Just trying to settle the argument.

Tearing into repair a broken front seat spring. These are the Hog Ring pliers and rings , hated the cheap red handled pliers and when I ran out of rings, found the real thing at Farm&Fleet. This has been discussed before, the real thing is much more reasonable in price too.

Is it necessary and safe to torque the 3 filter screws on a 904 transmission to 35 in lbs? I am at 20in lbs, the book does say 35in lbs. These screws are what, 3/16"? I don't want to strip or brake one. I borrowed a Snap-On digital torque wrench to do this.

Looking for a '69 2-speed wiper knob, it's the type that just pulls off and pushes on. It's cupped in shape and has a sand/silver finish inside. Here's a picture of the headlight knob, should look like it. Not the 1stpicture like I have.

What do you think about the new format? My first thoughts are I don't like it. Will give it a chance to grow on me. Guess that getting old has put me into a place that doesn't like change. Time will be the judge.
