Bucket seat floor bracket broke thru pan

Thanks. Was able to save about 70% of the broadcast sheet. The cars always been an automatic. So should I put a wanted ad for that section of the pan ? Only use a bench seat donor ... so when I put my bracket back over it it’ll be level ? How much overlapping with the donor piece should be...

How does Fit of ujoints look?

Yeah. That’s a good catch dana67dart. Hard to tell. I’ll have to get a better look. With those scars on the yoke, would you think it’s still sound ? I know it’s kind of impossible to tell just by a pic. From my totally untrained eye the front looks better than the back, I’m just wondering if I...

How does Fit of ujoints look?

Hi. Its a 73 Duster 340 with what I believe to be original driveshaft and rear. Took it to a shop to do ujoints and other work. Gave him 2 moog 246 ujoints for either side. He said they weren’t fitting but after a week or so he said he got them to fit. Had a guy help me with brakes and he said I...

    Ujoint Identification

I have a 73 Duster 340 H code 727 8.25 3.21 that the I brought in to change out the ujoints. I provided Moog 246s (7260). This is a pic of the dimensions the shop sent me. Does anybody have an idea what’s going on here ? He says the ujoints on the car are smaller. Thanks

73 Duster 340 Low Ride Height

Thanks for the good advice. How would I know if the torsion bar is clocked wrong or installed it with the LCA not hanging all the way down ? I see no rust or rot as the issue and just from looking that torsion bar doesn’t look like it’s been messed with for a very long time. I’m leaning towards...

73 Duster 340 Low Ride Height

Hi New to muscle cars and new to the forum and have a lot to learn. Front drivers side is super low so from reading on here was looking to adjust the torsion bar adjustment bolt. Bolt seems all the way in. Does this mean new torsion bars or could there be another reason for this ? Would...
