New Waterpump Hardware slightly Different_Plymouth Duster 360

Hey I have a second question. Obviously the coolant has been drained but there is still a little coolant in the backs of the holes that go into the water jacket. Will this effect the RTV on those threads?

New Waterpump Hardware slightly Different_Plymouth Duster 360

Thank you so much! I wonder maybe the previous owner didn't have power steering and then when he put on the power steering pump he just used the original shorter bolts.

New Waterpump Hardware slightly Different_Plymouth Duster 360

Yeah I probly can. I just figured I'd try to use the new ones. I'm gonna stick a chopstick into the holes to see how deep they are and if that extra 1/4" will matter in any of the deeper ones.

New Waterpump Hardware slightly Different_Plymouth Duster 360

Hey All. I'm replacing the water pump in my Plymouth Duster 360 and I ordered new hardware from Classic Industries. I attached a link to the bolts I bought below. When comparing the new bolts to the ones, I realized that two of the new ones are a 1/4" longer but all the rest are identical...

    Removing Fan on 360

Ok thanks guys. I took the radiator out so thats all good. And is the fan AND the wheel, that holds the alternator belt, supposed to come off? The piece I circled in red, or does the fan detach from that. What's that piece called too so I know. Thanks.

Edelbrock 1406 Not Pulling Fuel into Carb

Hey All, I'm sure there is something simple and obvious I'm missing but I am still stumped. Long story short, after putting the carburetor back on, I wasn't getting any fuel into the actual carburetor when pumping the gas. Not even into the fuel bowls. I disconnected the fuel line from the...

Stripped Holes in Cylinder Head for Intake Manifold Bolts

Hey All, I was putting my intake manifold back on to my Small Block 360 when two of the bolts just spun upon becoming flush with the surface. After looking closely I realized the threads were definitely shot. They are cast iron heads and I figured I could carefully attempt to heli coil them...
