    67 steering column kit?

I have been on the hunt for a 67-only lower column bearing kit and tried to contact Mr. Lane who is mentioned as a source in post #3. Sadly, it seems he passed away a few years ago. The phone number listed is not working so I’m guessing no one took over the business.

    Tips for garage equipment?

A mig welder, hearing protection and plenty of safety glasses scattered around so they aren’t inconvenient to put on when you just have that little thing to grind on the other side of the shop.

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately, I don't have a proper original switch; the one I have is the wrong style for a '67 so I'm trying to correct that. I'll make note of your comments for future needs- thanks again!

    Rallye dash Tach retrofit?

I just went down this road- I waited for months for Classic then canceled the order and ordered one from Herb's. I applied the '67 decal and repositioned the needle as described in post #4 above. I was very happy with the quality, timeliness and customer service from Herb's.

How much should i be paying for a

I called the manufacturer about the scaling question and they pointed out that it can be adjusted- there is a hole on the back of the unit that allows you to turn a tiny Phillips screw for calibration.

I have the same question about the scaling differences between the tachometer and the sticker. Has anyone come up with a solution for this? Thanks for any input.

These rallye dash bezel overlays are the fricken best

I was thinking DMT may have intended that the bottom overlay would be applied after the bezel was screwed into the dash so that the screws would be covered. I prefer letting them show like when the cars left the factory so I appreciate the tips posted above.

    1967 barracuda bucket seat adjust

I’m using the middle holes for now, which I hope will work for me since I’m average height, but I can’t really test them out since my car is a shell right now. It had non-mopar seats in it when I bought it.

    1967 barracuda bucket seat adjust

Regarding the studs that go through the floor, a few of mine were badly rusted and I was able to press them out of the bases using my bench vice with a socket on the head side. It slightly mangled the base but it went back in shape fairly easily. Some heat added wouldn’t be a bad idea and use...

New rallye dash replacement gauges/tachs (some insider news from the supplier)

Nice looking dash! I don't know what year your tach is from. So I cancelled my order with Classic and ordered a tach from AMS- they have a 2 week lead time for this item. I had already waited 4 months with Classic. AMS also had an AM radio that was on my "needed" list so that will be coming my...

New rallye dash replacement gauges/tachs (some insider news from the supplier)

Thanks for this information. I’ve been waiting for a back-ordered aftermarket tachometer from Classic Industries for my ‘67 Barracuda for a few months now and they can’t provide any estimate of when they might ship it.

Trying to put the windshield chrome back on - is this gasket right?

Trying to put the windshield chrome back on - is this gasket right?

I am getting ready to go through this process with my '67 Barracuda convertible. I'm seeing the original style Precision seal with their chrome locking strip available from DMT and I am leaning towards sticking with this original setup instead of converting to the 68/69 setup. But I have...

painting Respirators (single stage Urethane-BCCC ) what are you using ?

I painted my former truck in a home made paint booth in 2000. The exhaust fan was sort of marginal and there were lots of fumes in the booth. I was very happy that I splurged for a fresh air respirator with a full hood. You need to protect your eyes as well as your lungs and skin. Be very safe!
