    Pushrod length

Not sure why, but these rockers are way too long and they are the 7.342 or whatever it is. When setting pre-load I had to adjust the rockers way out and don’t have much clearance between the rod and bottom of the rocker itself. I will send photos.

    Holley sniper efi

I have a 360 I am putting together that I was originally going to put a Holley 750 double pumper on, but someone I know is selling a Holley sniper kit for $550. I am wondering if it is worth it to make the switch? I found a website with data showing the 750 cfm carb outperforming the sniper...

    Pushrod length

I have a 360 and as I went to put the pushrods in, realized they are too long. I need pushrods that are 5/16” diameter, and 7.2” long with a cup at one end. I am having trouble location these pushrods, or even cut to length rods that are cup and ball. Does anybody know where I can find these...

    Camshaft identification

I have this cam that came out of a 360, I am trying to identify it. It has DRV3 stamped on the end, and some other numbers. Looks like D2 and I-5 under it, and one the other side it looks like C2 and either VS4 or V64 under it. Googling drv3 camshaft came up with this. Can anybody help me with...

    727 trans no accumulator?

Yes, I ordered a metal accumulator. I was looking in there to see if they plugged it, but I am unsure because I have no frame of reference as to what it is supposed to look like in there and it is difficult to find photos of the hole without the accumulator in it. I am posting a better photo of...

    727 trans no accumulator?

Thank you, I ordered an accumulator. Do I need to leave both springs out or just the one that presses against the valve body?
  19. A

    727 trans no accumulator?

No, thank you. I think I am just going to buy a new accumulator and install it, see if the transmission works.

    727 trans no accumulator?

Is there a way for me to tell if this is a manual valve body? I am having trouble finding information on valve body identification online.

    727 trans no accumulator?

    Not good news

    727 trans no accumulator?

Found it. Valve body has: 3743158, then underneath it: 4 05305

    727 trans no accumulator?

Separator plate has 1000042-06. I have to open the valve body back up to see if it has a number

    727 trans no accumulator?

This plate does not match up with the photo on the instructions, though. Right off the bat I noticed the bottom section and where “R” is. But if you look at all of the holes the instructions says to drill it doesn’t seem like my plate has any of them.

    727 trans no accumulator?

It already has the shift kit installed.

    727 trans no accumulator?

I have it apart in front of me. I am going to check it next to the instructions for the kit and see if it has already been done. So, just to clarify, it will work without the accumulator?

    727 trans no accumulator?

And I was able to get the park engagement rod out, thank you.

    727 trans no accumulator?

“Fully rebuilt” I was told. Can I use the accumulator out of a 904

    727 trans no accumulator?

Yes, it was supposed to be a working trans

    727 trans no accumulator?

I opened up my 727 trans to install a shift kit in it and found no accumulator spring or accumulator. This is how it looked when I pulled the valve body away. Also, I cannot seem to get the rod in the last photo out. Is there some sort of trick to it?
