I used the wooden creeper I built waaay back in high school and set the complete 440 727 k member and steering box on it and slid it under and eased the car down over it till I had the room to pull it up into place with the cherry picker. Even left the hood on.

Had it completely apart and nothing looked out of place. Put it back together and same results. Still pegs out when power is applied from key and stays there while the motor is running until the key is turned off. Another 3 inches of wiring would help with installation and less sharp objects...

No change without the grey wire. Only the blue makes it move. I have the tach out of it right now anything I should look for internal?

After looking at your pics mine is wired backward from yours. This is a picture from mine before it was disassembled.

Just the ones on either side of the tach. I got them from year one. Can't remember the company who made them.

Good news looks like it was the black jumper wire in the fuse box was pushed down and contacting the buss bar beside it. Thanks for all the help guys. With everything working properly I just had to be overlooking something simple. The car wasn't running when I got it but nothing had been messed...

No modifications anywhere. And it's a tac center.

Looks like the jumper is correct. And all the connections in the fuse box seem tight. Still digging.

I guess I should have added the car was completely disassembled and is now back together. All of the wiring was uncut and visually intact everywhere. Nothing I could see prior to installation showed any signs of being hot. The only thing that needed changed out was the wiper motor ballast...

I'm having an issue with all of my dash accessories. The wipers, turnsignals and even the heater blower motor are always on. Any ideas will be helpful. The good thing is that they all work perfectly but are working even with the key off or with the ignition switch unplugged. Thanks in advance...
