I will keep you updated. I am waiting for the headers to be finished. I am having the crankcase evacuation tubes welded into them. Once they are finished I hope to get everything installed this week and be running the 3 day test & tune at Famoso this weekend.

I apparently did some uneducated ordering. I am going to order the Mopar P4529751AB. I don`t understand why Hughes does not make a flex plate that will work with their convertor.

Convertor was ordered from Hughes. They swear it is for a 904, Part #27-30. The flex plate B&M from Summit. Here are some pictures with the flex plate rotated 180 degrees. I have also spoke with the gentlman that did my machine work. It is a externally balanced 360. I am leaning towards going...

Once again I am faced with a set back. I have a Hughes 27-30 TC and a B&M 10239 FP. I think the tabs on the TC are not welded in the proper place. The reason I say that is the stock FP lines up perfectly with the B&M FP. Has anyone ever experienced this problem?

I have purchased a Hughes 27-30 3000 stall converter and a B&M 10239 flex plate. I was told today by a Mopar guy that this combo will not work on my 1972 360 external balanced build. What do you think? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/bmm-10239 The flex plate is the one with the half moon...

I am running the OE 1 3/4 drum brakes. I purchased this rear end for $75.00 from a mother who was upset her son had left car parts all over the place when he moved out. I have had it completly rebuilt. When the OE axles were out, I had them redrilled for BBP. I had the brake drums drilled also...

I did not notice the bearings on those. This is a budget build drag car. I will find a set of axles that I can install without any modifications. Any suggestions? Will I have to remove the chunk to install new axles? Like I said, this is all new to me.

I have a 8.75 with a 741 case, stock axles and OE style tapered bearings. I have a bent flange on the pass. side axle. I have decided to change both axles. Planning on ordering ebay item#170780833828.

I am about to attemp to change the rear axle on my 8.75. This is one I have not done before. What is the proper sequence for doing this? I have looked through all the forums and cannot find anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
