CAR HUNT! or BOF & me car shopping!

That 73 Charger is a hard animal to get parts for. If you end up with the 'bee, I might be able to use some parts....

    77 Roadrunner

Looks like a nice car, but check the front rails - that's where my mom's old Dippy rusted...

    Ballast Resistor

On a 1974, you have one more electrical gremlin lurking - the dreaded seatbelt sarter interock. If that goes bad, you have lights, radio, but no crank. It will start with the relay jump. I by-passed the one on my Charger for that very problem. Took 3 days of hunting and cussin!!! LOL I...

Things I do at car shows

We take chairs, cooler and go to hang out with friends, ignore the snobs. It's all about the fun & friends for us when we go to Carlisle or the Nats, even though the Oldies (74 Charger & her 68 Formula S) are not road worthy at this point - we take the Ram, this year we'll take her new Charger...

    Help me build a barn

I'm looking into building a pole barn. General "fomula" for the frame is 6x6 posts spaced 8' apart, hole depth seems to be between 3' - 4', pre-fab roof trusses 4' apart. 2 schools of thought on putting the post on a concrete "cookie" or mini-footer, or cementing in. Header boards on top...

    69 cuda for 74 roadrunner????

KEEP THE B'CUDA!!!!! A 74 318 Road Runner isn't a great deal. That da$hpad is about an $800 item, interior trim pieces for the 73/4 B-Bods aren't easy to come by. That 383 is not a bolt-in swap either, K-members were different for small & big blocks starting in 73. Now you need a K-member...

    69 cuda for 74 roadrunner????

74 Road Runner stuff isn't growing on trees either. You will spend the same $$ or more on the B-body stuff, and probably have a harder time finding the 74 Road Runner stuff than the b-cuda stuff. At the end of the day you will be in the same situation with a car you may not like as much.

How original have you kept yours and why

All depends on the car and the owner! My wife's 68 is an original Formula S 340 car, Believe all numbers matching. Needs a complete resto, original colors are sunfire yellow w/ green deluxe interior, repainted bananna yellow early in it's life - ugh! As of now, probably going with Candy Apple...

    8.75 find

:toothy10: Most GPS/Maps can't find my address! I LOVE being in the middle of nowhere - nobody to complain about un-registered vehicles in the driveway, ongoing projects and other things!

It should be sitting in your driveway at that price - TOO many time I've seen people lose out on deals like that because they have to "think about it". Go get it and post pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yellow Barracuda pictures if you have them

My wife's 68 340s Original color was the pale yellow - like 1968FormulaS340's - with dark green interior. I don't think it will be this color when it's done though! As you can se, I have a LOT of work ahead of me!
