okay i found the issue with the power now its all working great, starts right up...but runs like $#!T .. i have new plugs, wires, cap and rotor and cleaned the points, i checked the firing order over and over again. i hooked up my timing light: #1 cyl- spark every few seconds, erratic though...

okay i have a 71 dart with a slant six. bought a new battery and new starter relay, i jumped the battery to the starter and the engine turns fine. but with a new battery and starter relay i still have absolutely no power anywhere with the battery hooked up.. i have to be missing something...

i did it wrong. i hooked the positive battery lead to the large terminal and hooked my remote starter from that to the small terminal and it spins. it had to be the ignition solenoid...
