simply grounding the wire at the sensor end should bring the gauge all the way hot... if not you have a wire problem or a guage problem...if it was the regulator you would have other gauge problems as well...

NO...a ported vacuum nipple should have no vacuum at idle, unless you have the idle cranked up way too far to compensate for a large cam, in which case you need to modify the carb more info may be helpful

I diasembled mine, it just barely fit through in pieces, installed a mopar mini, it will go in in one piece no problem

75s had it too and mopar put out a bulletin in '76 to bypass... mine was already bypassed when i got it, but still,unplugging the box she will not start

fuel gauge- sending unit it tank needs replacing oil light- the wire for it is probably touching ground ocasionally turning the light on amp gauge - id check all the conections and wires that run down the side of the intake, you must have disturbed something or something is connected...
