what deep oil pan can you usein a 68 a body

That pan isn't notched out at all for the steering linkage. The notch I have on my 699 pan (which is identical to the 187 pan) needed to be slightly banged out to fit nicely. I can't see that there would be no interference with this one.

Header options for a B-engine stroker in a Dart?

TTI does offer a modified Z bar to fit manual transmission cars. I assume it fits both the 2" and the 1 3/4".

Header options for a B-engine stroker in a Dart?

TTI offers 1 3/4" full length headers that claims to fit power steering. I have never seen these pictured with it though. A couple people here have said that they used them in this combo. I plan to get a set and try out when I get other things ironed out and the engine broken in.

    Big Block Motor Mount

Unfortunately, there's no room to run the Schumacher torque strap with factory big block A-Body motor mounts.

    Power brakes??

I believe you are correct. I considered using power brakes years ago when I had an RB in my Barracuda. This is what I had (and still have upstairs in my garage). I never used it, but if I remember correctly, there was plenty of clearance.

    440 TTI header question

Sorry. I misread their site. You are correct. The price is $107.10.

    440 TTI header question

Either way, TTI shorty headers still require the use of their modified Z bar ($43.25 on their site) whether you run a B or RB engine.

    440 into a /6 duster

WOW! I can't believe you had to mash the tube around your pitman arm so much. When I had used those 2" headers before the addition of power steering, I didn't have to take a hammer to anything. I guess that just shows the inconstancies in the way the factory put these cars together.

Filling a ding on a big block valve cover advice needed!

I've got a set of chrome tall covers shaped like yours on my Barracuda. Picked them up in the late 90's. I don't see many like them around anymore, and I don't ever remember seeing any with the welded tab.

    Oil Pump bolt size

They are all 3/8-16 (course) threads. As far as the length, measure the depth of the pump at the location of the bolt holes and add maybe 1/2" to have enough length to screw into the block.

440 under car headers need advice.

TTI also offers 1 3/4" shorty headers that clear power steering.

TTI headers for B block and Power Steering

In the upcoming weeks, I will be breaking in a new low deck 451. The car has power steering and Schumacher headers. I'm considering using TTI 1 3/4'" headers after the break in but I'm a bit skeptical about the fit on the car. Even the 1 5/8" tri Y's are nearly snug up against the steering box...

    383 refresh combo opinions..

What header are you planning to purchase from Summit? Keep in mind that very few headers fit this application. I'd hate to see you throw money away on something that doesn't fit.

    440 Handling?

These are apparently stock engine weights that doesn't take into consideration the weight savings of aluminum aftermarket parts. http://www.gomog.com/allmorgan/engineweights2.html

    470 ci cooling system

Don't go with the stock water pump housing. it has far too small passages. Not sure about the radiator...not there yet. Had the stock 22" punched out to 4-row...but still ran warm in traffic.

1 3/4" TTI headers w/power steering (pics appreciated)

My 67 Barracuda low deck 451 has been off the road for the last 15 years and I have restarted the resurrection over the last few months. I currently have a set of Schumachers that were jet hot coated in 1998 and have begun to show surface rust just from sitting around. Thinking of using full...

Parts from C-body for my A?

Everything from the spindles outward will bolt on to an A-Body. I did this on my 67 Barracuda which was originally 4 wheel drums back in '96. It hasn't been on the road since 1998...but I am back working on it. I just got stuff from a junkyard 1973 Satelite.

    BIg block oil pan pic.

As 70Duster440 mentioned, I have interference at that same spot on my 699 pan. In searching big block pans, I've noticed that some aftermarket ones appear to have an angle that may be enough to avoid the steering likg problems. what do you guys think?

    400 big block + my 71 Demon

Schumacher headers (which I use) have the easiest fit and works well even with power steering for street and light strip if you're not looking to squeeze every last 10th's from your car. TTI's 1 3/4" headers supposedly fits both B and RB engines, but only the B engines with power steering. TTI...

    Aluminum Water Pump Housing

Has anybody on Ebay dealt with these people from Crankshaft Depot? Their prices sound way too cheap but they have a really good seller rating. http://www.ebay.com/itm/DODGE-MOPAR-BIG-BLOCK-361-440-ALUMINUM-WATER-PUMP-HOUSING-/360579206979?

    Oil Pan Question

187 and 699 pans have the notch needed for proper clearance. Either shouldn't be very difficult to find and probably not too expensive.
