I put fatmat in the inside of the doors over the factory undercoat on my 69 Barracuda. Haven't driven it yet but I can tell you there was a big difference to me in how the doors sounded when they closed. Much more solid sounding.

Do you have a regular Dart or a Dart GT? The trim is different so I'm sure the clips are different. I believe I got the plastic clips for my 67 GT from R/T Specialties.

Outer chrome trim on these grilles are pot metal and the thin inner trim is anodized aluminum. It is very odd that they are riveted and not screwed on.

Thanks, so the chrome pot metal outer surrounds have cast-in rivets that are peened over to the plastic grill housings? To reassemble you epoxy them back together?

How do you separate the outside chrome trim from the plastic housing? Do you have to drill out the rivets? Don't see how rivets could be holding chrome bezels to the plastic. Thanks for any help from those that have done this.

I just did this yesterday. I placed a 4x4 stacked with 2 2x4's between the radiator and the front of the hood with a towel between the radiator and the wood for padding. That left the rear edge of the hood lifted enough to access the bolts and made it easy to push down on the back corners for...

My 69 Barracuda had 3 angled ones and 1 flat housing from the factory. My body and paint guy pointed it out. Bought another angled one and switched it out.

Maybe one of the smaller "detail" type harbor freight guns that don't have as large an air cfm requirement as the larger ones. That means you can use a smaller compressor. Use one of the small air/water filters they sell that hooks into the gun air supply hose. Lots of people here know more...

I did that and it came out reasonably well but if I had to do it again I would buy a cheap harbor freight paint gun and borrow or use a small compressor. Would have come out better.

That's ok, I'll find out today when I go to the car if they are welded, hope so because I didn't find any short sections of channel with my other window stuff. Thanks for taking time to post the pictures. They are just what I need.

Your car is a fastback also? Is that short c channel welded in or bolted? I have the window mechanism at home working on it but the car is in a storage facility. That c channel is what I was not accounting for.

Who has the correct quarter window seals that seal the rear edge of the front window to the front edge of the quarter window? The originals look flocked on the outer edge of the rubber that slides along the quarter window. Thanks for any help.

Some quick help needed. Is there any kind of rubber rope or lock strip maybe that is needed in addition to the gasket itself for a 69 fastback barracuda back glass? I removed glass and gasket but had to cut the gasket up to get glass out and just don't remember. I know 67 is different from mine.
