    White face gauges

Good info Dave. I've just got the standard Duster IP like Racingduster and 64dart170 show, and am trying to brighten it up a bit. The whole car is done in a black and white theme. It has a white dash frame, black pad, and the gauge fascia is black. So the white faces seems a natural progression.

    White face gauges

Thanks all. I take it this is just a peel and stick proposition?

    White face gauges

Thanks oneway, but their site doesn't show any even though they have 70-76 Duster listed. Racingduster, where did you get yours?

    White face gauges

Some time back someone sold a DUSTER instrument cluster that had white face gauges in it. Anyone know where/how to do some? There a kit? Got to send them off to someone? Any info would be appreciated

    Bench seat hinge covers

Although I don't sell much, I've been a Legendary dealer since about 1991. So I'll have a chit chat with them and see what I come up with. If that doesn't pan out, I'll check in to your suggestion. Google says Troy is 91.4 miles away from me.

    Bench seat hinge covers

Thanks much! That's exactly what I needed to know. My plans are to have a new set of covers made in the 73 pattern in the proper grain, and in white. (I'll be leaving the black belts and headrests). After all that is done, I'll probably be selling off these white covers. They aren't ripped or...

    Bench seat hinge covers

Here is a pic of the passenger's side hinge. I took this side cause it still has the chrome knob on it making it easier to see. Interesting thing is I don't see any way to attach a hinge cover. So what have you got out there?

    Bench seat hinge covers

I think I'm going to have some new covers made for my Duster, but it's a 72 and doesn't have a 72 seat in it (no integral headrests). So I'm hoping I can identify it by the kind of hinge covers it should have. Anyone have a pic of theirs? I'll post a pic of the hinge on mine later today thanks

    Steering Wheel Swap....any advice???

I'm guessing the horn button will twist off. You'll probably need a puller to get the wheel off. No, you don't need to mess with the turn signal switch . Make sure they gave you the correct adapter kit. When I did the wheel on "IT", the horn didn't work until I scraped some paint off the wheel...

Dash Pad. After Market or Have Restored?

Ultimate Rides is the company in El Paso that made all the Cudas for Nash Bridges. It's my understanding their pads are NOT vinyl covered foam, but are a moulded hard plastic (similar to the RAM dashes of the late 90s) If they are plastic (and I'm sure they are) then they can be "colored" by...

    Duster Seat belt question

I'm trying to find some factory belts for my Duster ("IT") and have seen some from a 73. But it looks like the ones from a 73 are made with a shoulder belt that has it's own retractor and it permanently attached to the lap belt. Were these shoulder belts mandated for 73? How does this setup fit...

dynamat for A Body tell me about yours...

From what I've read on the subject, you really want to stick to a butyl product. Seems those work a bit better, and you don't have the asphalt smell

    how to change keyswitch

Changing the key cylinder won't tell you anything. If the key turns, then the cylinder is ok. That tells you nothing about whether the switch is bad. If you think it is the actual switch, then what I said is still the quick way to check it.

If all you want to do is check it, then unplug the original under the dash, plug in the new one, and give it a twist

    interior plastic color change

Thanks:-D I should add there are actually 3 different paints used in that interior. First, there is the paint for all the plastic and dash pad. Then there is the "suede" paint on the metal part of the dash and the column. And there is a third used on all the other metal parts, such as the hinge...
