Ok Thanks I Ok Thanks I just need to get it close.The distribitor was loose and I accidentally moved it not knowing it was loose. I just put a new carb on it. I am going to drive it a few weeks. Then I am getting rid of the lean burn and going to a 70's electronic ignition.

I have found the sell new Holley 1 bbl carbs. with a electric choke. They are listed as fitting Ford's with a 300 six cylinder. Does anybody know of a 1 bbl electric choke made to fit a 225 slant 6. Or maybe if the Ford carb would fit my 225? Electric choke would be nice and my carb is shot anyway.

Never redone. It is a KY truck and pretty clean. I did clean up the interior and put new carpet in it. I would trade it for the right A body

I just add a quart of automatic transmission fluid to the oil.I learned this years ago from a old timer and it works great!

I had flex plate bolts come loose more than once,even using locktight on the threads.I quit using stock flex plates many years ago.I use TCI flex plates and have never had another issue with bolts coming loose.
