10" drums are hard to find, but they're still out there if you look hard enough. Most parts stores carry only the 9" drums for some reason.

Take your old rad to a local shop and ask them if it can be cleaned and reused. Maybe after they remove the bottom tank and rod it? Should be cheap. If not, then ask them about recoring it.

If you can make a paint mask, make one slightly larger that the speedo faceplate numbers and spray the back of the speedo faceplate with black paint. This will make the numbering white with a black shadow. GL!

Three words for you: ammeter, ammeter, ammeter! You can just jump them out by attaching a heavy gauge wire across the two terminals at the back of the gauge. If this works, them you just confirmed it. Good luck!

I had a Datsun Bluebird in Korea that had one side light missing. When I had it painted, I told the body shop to just fill in the hole and paint it. Nobody ever even noticed it! But if it bugs you, find a new door.

The ground jumper strap connects the fuel line from the sender to the steel fuel line going up to the fuel pump. It is about 4" long and bridges the short rubber fuel line between the sender's fuel line and the steel fuel line to the fuel pump.

Check the sending unit ground jumper strap before you replace the sending unit. This strap gets the ground to the sending unit circuit through the sending unit and then up to the gauge.
