I have them on my 69 Dart 340 . comp 480 cam, double springs, street / strip car ran at the strip at high rpm no problems and dont have to adjust driven daily probably a couple of thousand miles a year.

no picture but i put a key switch in place of the stock cigarette lighter.

I have never ran 1/8th mile , but the talk is they may put a track in nearby. What do you guys run for gears etc on 1/8th mile.

thanks for all the input guys. i am still torn between the centerforce or Mcleod. I will probably only drag the car once or twice a year. running about 375- 400 h.p. Any one would be better than the hays borg and beck style i am running now. It does grab great though.

You might be okay with that case. I took my Dart to the drag strip this year with 323 gears. Launched it all day at 5000 rpm , shifted at 6200 rpm , no problems. they are pretty tuff. I just bought a posi with a 391 gear with the large joint and will try to better my time next time out.

thanks for the support all. Any ideas on improvements . I know i am going to put in a centerforce clutch. Right now i am running a hays street/strip clutch it's murder trying to hold that clutch in at the line, also had some issues with my clutch rods as i didn't catch 3rd gear very well on...

took my 1969 dart out this weekend to old time Drags. 340 4 speed, best time of 14.02 . Man was that fun. 5500 rpm launch running skinny m/t drag radials. i'm hooked will go out and do that again.

I checked on the summit site , best deals for sure , the big problem for me is shipping cost to me in Canada basically doubles the cost of the rims. I will look around locally and see what i can find or maybe i can trade, thanks for all the input, it helps a lot.
