    Tornados

Yes. This is tornado that passed just west of our town on April 26th. This is the one that destroyed most of Miden, Iowa and stayed on the ground for 40 miles all the way through my county. We were incredibly fortunate. We're playing for a tornado benefit this Saturday.

    Electric guitar...

I'm over 60, still playing in the bars, still getting free beer for playing is said bar, still watching drunk girls dance and on a good night I still get flashed. Meaning...reconsider this 'NOT the public' thing.

    Electric guitar...

But they are simple I-IV-V chords for beginners to use. Adding the Em for a fourth chord is simple for beginners. Plus G is a relatively common key for vocals. Key of A requires a certain amount of dexterity on the A most beginners aren't ready for as well as the F#m. Using the key of E...

    Electric guitar...

This is the best advice to a beginner. Would you want your child to learn how to drive with a car that has balding tires, bad brakes, jumps out of gear and iffy power steering. No. You want to learn on a safe and efficient vehicle. Most beginner say they don't want to sink a bunch of money...

    Fender tag

Undermining people that offer correct answers and information because your opinion differs thereby perpetuation wrong or incomplete answers doesn't accurately address questions nor dispel bad information. Far too many people have opinions and not data.

should i feel this way about fathers day

Lost mine almost five years ago. My goal is to get through Father's Day without getting a card :) (The results of a misspent youth. Looks like I can mark off one more year...whew....) Wish I could send my dad a card.

    70 dart R/T???

I agree. Rock solid documentation (broadcast sheet, window sticker, IBM card, owner trail, etc, etc) MIGHT push it to $100,000 IF the car actually exists and IF it was/could be restored. IF the car really turns out to be as portrayed, I would like to know more about it. It would be a nice...

    70 dart R/T???

My point is this...there is nothing from the tag codes listed in the original post that disqualfies this car from being what is described. I have one small question on the codes but what is listed is consistent with what one would expect to find on a car as described. Does that mean the car in...

    70 dart R/T???

Why could an A Body not have been an F series prototype? Numerous examples of N41 and N42 exist. Coding depends on year and applications. M is a legitimate 70 VON letter and A bodies with an M VON code exist. Numerous models came with Chome tips standard such as Super Bees and...

Rescue This Dog! (or post a pic of yours!)

I have about 50 dogs a year as I do rescue work too. Here's a guy that will either get adopted from the local pound on Friday or go to resuce on Saturday. Indy is an AS mix. Beautiful red coat with some cinnamon around the ears and bi colored eyes. The other dogs are some we've adopted out...

    70 dart R/T???

To me a Pilot would be a car that was designed, engineered, and planned for and the pilot would be the early builds. A prototype falls under 'Hmmmm....I wonder if this will work and can we sell it to the brass upstairs as a regular production car?" It takes me about 1/2 hour after I get...

    74 scamp fender tag?????????????????

You are absolutly sure it's a "C" and not a "G" with part of the tail missing? It is not uncommon for part of the "G" to not stamp properly or to be hidden by rust or damage. A "G" would be correct in both places.

    70 dart R/T???

And the VON and VON to VIN comparison is very interesting and it's listed as an LS model. Pics of the tag and the car would be great to see. A legible broadcast sheet would be an incredible find.
