Stan, the motor is looking great! What are some details on it? I'm just going to throw some bolt-on's on mine (edlebrock 4bbl intake, 600 carb, and headers) for the summer until I upgrade to a 360 so I'd be curious as to what you have.

Ha! Thanks. I was going to two tone it with the grey thats on the hood but changed my mind at the last minute. The red is viper red and the grey is also a dodge color. Its graphite metallic I think. Wer put a semi flat clear on it to mix the old with the new. I get a lot of comments on it...

well its been a while since i posted but i thought i'd add a few to the mix. the car is getting a little touch up here and there and then it's off to sleep for the winter. I'll be putting a 4bbl, cam, and all the fixings on it over the winter!

lot a catch up in a short post. car is mostly done and has been home with me for a couple of weeks now. waiting to get my valance panels done and the chrome stainless around the windshield and back window to be installed. still have a lot of little details to finish and may do a little more...

We have color! It's only the bottom of the trunk and the inside of the doors but hey it's color.

well this weekend was a long one but it was also a productive one.

Well After this weekend looks like the vinyl roof is gone! We welded up the seems good glassed it ground it smooth applied some plastic and smoothed it over. I went out on a limb and decided to smooth the dutchman panel into the quaters also.

here are a few pictures of the past weekend. after this weekend it will be good by vinyl top for good!!! the tan spots on the roof is sand from the sand blaster. i blasted the quarter/roof seams and the patches that we put in.

no joke when we lifted it up i felt that i could have almost walked under it it was so high up. it was straight up and down almost and we dropped it in then put a piano dolly on the tailshaft of the tranny and everything slid into place. it really did go smooth.

with the roof stripped and most of the body in primer and blocksanded 1 time.

Been kinda on hold for a while but did strip the roof this weekend.

it pretty much bolted right up. don't have the bumper on yet do who knows for sure but i'm sure i'll be posting if there are any issues.... will post more pictures shortly...

can't really say, didn't get that far yet. the new stuff is sitting in primer and the old stuff is sitting in my garage. hoping to find out pretty soon tho, it's killing me to see what it'll look like! !

I know the "quarter extensions" are different but they just bolt on and the marker lights are different on 70's but the "quarters" being different? Not to sure about What you mean that the quarters are different.... And keep up the good work, I'm starting the same project on saturday!

what really is kinda cool about this whole thing is that by decoding the vin stamped on the rad support of the new front end, it came from a 74 also.
