i think the sector shaft changes sizes in 67 so your pitman arm wouldnt fit, i dont know if you can just update the pitman to. Also to think about you need to modify your P/S column, get a manual steering column, or get the adapter from firmfeel

everything else above is spot on, i'll go for the unmentioned, your trying to handle on 14" tires... the tires available for a 14, even most 15's are not handling tires.

is the bar rubbing because you have the car in the air and not at ride height?

IMO those are pretty useless, even those certain things are supposed to be in certain places thats not ever the case. Thats why i said he will have to spec everything if he wants to get into that far. Find the true centerlines and what not and see where everything falls. I had to do that when...

well you can do cross measurements from the firewall to core support and see how close it is.

the stock k member has holes which the bolts have a shoulder for, so anymore than that you are goign to have to measure yourself!

link as ive never heard of them. Caltracs work with stock springs, just not SS springs do to how the SS spring works.

Oh that parts usually is sold by the company the wheel comes from. We have a aftermarket column in a 46 dodge truck. We used a Grant wheel and they just asked for some specs and sent out the correct "boss" as you call it

All the rebuild kits i see say 64+, did they change the size of the "floaters" and other parts or will they work on a 62?

cut one of those welded seams, replace the bushings, then weld it back up. i just use a wet rag to isolate the heat from the bushing the best i can...

if your making one just make it, simply a threaded tube and two heim joints

Ok so I had a thought about a post oldmanmopar did about the strut rods and poly bushings. I tracked down his post and on fine thread strut rods you need to remove the spacer or it will push the strut rod back about a 1/4 t0 1/2" an inch. We removed those and it looks much better so its back to...
