Does any body know which reamer I should use to ream my small ball joint spindles to the right size to run big ball joints on the upper control arms. I want to get adjustable upper control arms and they only come with big ball joints, and I dont want to change spindles or I will have to lose my wilwood brakes and have to buy a new wilwood kit for the big spindles.

Thanks, Nick

I think they are basically universal, just ream and then check till you get the right depth. Speedway sells a good one that we have used.

Would it be cheaper to have a machine shop do it since you will only be doing it one time on your car?

This^^^… Hand them the parts, let the professional's do it. That's, a safety thing. Unless you have some machinist experience, it's better dollarwise,to let an experienced machinist do it.

Not hard to do. Simply measure the ball joint stud at its largest diameter and ream the spindle out until the large end matches.

yea just put it in a vise or even on the car, takes but a couple of minutes

What RustyRatRod and the 805moparkid said and i'm a machinist its real easy to do.
