There not to hard to find I had a Ramcharger and was looking at buying a newer Ram a buddy has a 85 Crew and I realized how functional it was (seating for 4 and a bed) He found this one on a fluke had been sitting for some time. But they were made from the mid 70's-85.

I would go with a newer nipodenso unit with at least 100A and use the standard regulator. I have read many downfalls of the one wire setups but mainly that they don't react as quickly to voltage differences. Be sure to upgrade your wiring to handle the amperage of the new alt. Check for units...
Build a ring that the speaker will mount on then build a frame that is the shape of where you want to put it. Then cover the whole thing in fabric staple it tight then start to apply resin.

If your referring to the leading edge trim there are spring clips with studs that insert into the hood.
