Hey all, This may be a stupid question,but I have never changed a lightbulb for my console. I'm sure there is a bulb to light up the gear selector. The thing is I have only driven at night a couple times and thought there should be a light. If one of you great smarter members could help me...

I have a single 8ohm balast with the same coil. No worries.

I bought and installed one in my Cuda/340. I can say... it for sure didn't give me 40HP extra,but It made a difference and I love the look and the fact that I can set RPM limiter with ease.

Correct you are on the big difference on brightness! I had mine done this past Spring. A buddy of mine did it for me. It took him no time at all,and it only cost me about the same. I did have to spring for the Beer!! I think it's a great idea to do.. Craig.

You can also buy the harness new (repro) I used a B body,it worked fine..

Yes,you need the harness that go's from the reverse light to the trans (plug in) and the other part plugs into the bulkhead. Hope this helps..
