    I seen a '65 Belvedere run at the local 1/8 mile track. It ran 9.6 with a semi stock 318. It had a performer intake/Edelbrock 600 and dual exhaust. 3 on the tree to. It was an 80's model with swirl port heads. I thought it was respectable.

    I am seeing the heads on the link above for $1300 and the heads from Hughes are around $800 or so?? I want the flow advantages and combustion chamber of the Magnum heads but the LA rocker and intake setup. I think this is the best bang for the buck.

    At 11:1 compression with that gear, I'd reccomend the Mopar .557 solid, Mopar M1 single plane and the 750 Mighty Demon carb. Just my 2 cents...
