@ OldKimmer - I went with the RTV in combination with the correct larger gasket that I found at Advance Auto Parts in Brooklyn MD. I torqued her down at 50 ft. lbs. Fired her up and no leaks at all.

Hello - Can you forgoe the adaptor kit and use RTV Red to seal the adaptor to the block?
