Long time A-body wanna be here but I’m mainly a B-body owner. I did have a 68 Dart for a while but managing 3 cars, two of which were projects is just overwhelming. Anyway, if you guys like Mopar content on YouTube, here’s my channel. I’ll be featuring a couple new engine builds, a TF headed 440...

Your favorite rear end/final drive ratio and why?

I commuted 4.5 hours one way On the interstate to college for years with a 4.10 gear and 26” tires. Luckily it was with full exhaust lol. I run a 3.73 with a GV OD and 28” these days.

Whos running over 700whp on an 8.75?

The street car is 1200whp with the dana. The Superbird will be twin 88s and probably 1600whp the scary thing is the dana is bone stock, not even a spool

Whos running over 700whp on an 8.75?

I run a 3.73 Dana under my street car, but overall, the 9” is a much better platform for racing and I built a fabricated 9 housing for my big hp car.

    Restored car pet peeves

I think the people that call those things out are arrogant enough to think they actually know more about the car than the owner of it or they just make themselves feel better by putting down someone else’s ride. People are strange, but these people are why I stopped going to car shows 30 years ago.

    Restored car pet peeves

I’ve been seriously looking at an LS in my Superbird. They’re cheap, make gobs of power (especially boosted) and I was already planning on using a TH400 trans.

Ultrasonic thickness meter for cylinder walls

An older series they don’t make any more. He can surely search their site and find one with a convex transducer for checking cylinders. If not, let’s say, maybe he’s a total caveman, he can at least call them and ask for a model number and a retailer... damn, some of you need led to water and be...

What brand of spark plugs have you had luck with

I can’t say I’ve had more issues with one brand vs another but I find more availability in the NGK line and I find them much easier to read than other brands.

    Tank Baffles - Need Input

Foam is not an option in a fully TIG welded tank. The holes are very generous. Most of what I see are small slots along the bottom of the baffles but I'm no fuel tank design engineer, lol. The hinged baffle deal is interesting, and I've seen that in oil pans but I've never seen it in fuel cells.
